Roasted Garlic Dip


  • 1 bulb or head garlic, unpeeled
  • 1/2 tablespoon oil
  • lemon juice to taste
  • salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup drained (8-10 hours) plain, unsweetened EasiYo Yogurt 




  • Preheat the oven to 180°C
  • Place the garlic on a sheet of tinfoil
  • Drizzle the oil over the garlic, then bring together the corners of the foil to make a sealed package
  • Bake in a moderate oven for 40-45 minutes or until the garlic is soft
  • Remove from the oven and when cool enough to handle, but the garlic in half horizontally with a pair of kitchen scissors
  • Squeeze out the pulp into a small bowl 
  • Add the drained yogurt, lemon juice and season to taste
  • Mix well and garnish as desired
