Roasted Garlic Dip

Ingredients
  • 1 bulb or head of garlic, unpeeled
  • 1/2 Tbsp oil
  • lemon juice to taste
  • salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup drained (8-10 hours) EasiYo Unsweetened Greek Style Yogurt 

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Place the garlic on a sheet of tinfoil.

Drizzle the oil over the garlic, then bring together the corners of the foil to make a sealed package.

Bake in a moderate oven for 40-45 minutes or until the garlic is soft.

Remove from the oven and when cool enough to handle, cut the garlic in half horizontally with a pair of kitchen scissors.

Squeeze out the pulp into a small bowl .

Add the drained yogurt, lemon juice and season to taste.

Mix well and garnish as desired.
